IsoTec SE 300 CG – Synthetic Ester for Capacitors
Capacitor-grade synthetic ester impregnant based on IsoTec SE 300 – for power factor correction, filter and power-electronics capacitors.
What is IsoTec SE 300 CG?
IsoTec SE 300 CG is the capacitor-grade version of our synthetic ester IsoTec SE 300. It is supplied for the vacuum impregnation of film and paper-film capacitors. Limits for dielectric dissipation factor, water content and particle content are agreed with each customer to match the capacitor design and process.
Why a synthetic ester impregnant?
- Fire safety: based on IsoTec SE 300 with a fire point above 300 °C (K-class according to IEC 61039)
- Moisture tolerance: dielectric strength remains high even when the fluid takes up water
- Oxidation stability for long service life of the capacitor

Qualification in our laboratory
Before series supply we test, together with you, the properties that matter for your capacitor: dissipation factor and permittivity, gassing tendency under electrical stress, water and particle content, and compatibility with polypropylene film, paper and the other materials in your design.
